I kinda do this in Shattered Pixel Dungeon too.
I've also labeled my own p-touch before, I might have a problem.

Nice! I love roguelike games, so I'll add this to my wishlist. Any game that allows you to rename things are always fun.

No wishlisting really required since it's free.
I think i's available in a few different stores for convenience, but there's also releases on github (and thus fdroid, and PopOs' thingy, others I don't know about)

Disclaimer: I think the renaming objects option may or may not have been limited to supporters way back when it was added.
I've bought it so long ago I couldn't say with certainty anymore.

The main dev, evan, is also active on lemmy.

Have fun.

I found the github version and will give it a try. The Steam and GOG versions cost money, but I'm completely fine with supporting indie devs if they make a quality product. Thank you for letting me know that!

SPD is definitely quality. I don't think it's one of the best roguelikes ever made, but it is probably the best one ever made that's easily available for mobile. If you want a dungeon crawler on your phone SPD is best in slot even without player renaming shenanigans.

Two kinds of players

😂 Just keep in mind that if other players encounter things you've named, they can report the name so don't get "too creative."
