Of all movies out there to get a sequel/remake, I did not have this 80's boobfest on my list of possible candidates. π (I really enjoyed the second movie, though. Maybe they can pull it off and it'll actually be good.)

The second movie is wild because they tried to get all artsy.
I am now even more disappointed that we never got MST3K season 14. We were robbed man. Look at this absurd shit. This might literally be the stupidest sword I have ever seen.
I couldn't get in to the new MST3K seasons. The ones I watched had too frantic pacing. It seemed like they were trying to hard. Just joke after joke after joke. I like when the old ones let the movie breathe a little bit. Maybe I need to try again.
It was hit and miss. I actually felt they finally found their groove in season 13, because I generally agree about 11 and 12 being a little bit tryhard with a few glowing exceptions.
Wait, they're making a FIFTH one?
Wait. This is actually happening?
Weβre actually in this timeline?
Oh wow! I would have never imagined there would be a sequel to the Deathstalker series.
It's one of the top "sword and sandles" b-movies from the 80s and early 90s.
I am not sure how well a modern sequel will hold up (the originals never took themselves too seriously), but if I get a chance, I will even go watch this in the cinema in English.
I'm unfamiliar with the 80's movie and was hoping for an adaptation of Simon R. Green's space opera of the same name.
