I thought that Enterprise. Except Riker is the participant.

I don't know any of the particulars but what if the union advised it's workers to only do the paid work? I don't see how they can be held to account for not doing unpaid work if they all refuse together.

I used to think militaries and religions had the best brainwashing capabilities but that was before Faux News.

Totally reasonable. I wish every electronic device would brick itself if it heard you talking shit about it. People are too rude to toasters.

That's perfect. It's now my headcanon too.

The second half of season 2 is okay in my book. The space battle with Control in the denouement is pretty great, and I enjoyed the characters of Pike and Spock but I do find the whole Red Angel plot line to be convoluted. My biggest issue with the show altogether is that I think they focus on Stamets and Culver's relationship too much. I feel the same way about Adira and Grey later in the show. I know that Star Trek like to push boundaries with non traditional relationships, but I just didn't care about these characters or their relationships. It was usually during these scenes that I found my mind wandering. I've found Trill interesting since Dax in DS9, but it's like they forgot Adira even has Tul with her after a few references early on. How you make two characters that shared the same symbiote boring is beyond me.

I am doing a second pass through Discovery, even though it's not my favorite series. Watching season 4 right now. Last night was s4e5 The examples, where Deputy Secretary Errinwright from The Expanse shows up as a know-it-all scientist that rubs Stamets the wrong way.

Years from now you'll remember the good times and the shitty days won't be rembered often. Kids idolize their parents whether we're worthy or not. My house is a mess too. We are all just getting by some days. Don't beat yourself up. Try to make tomorrow a little better.

This happened to my parents in the 90s in Florida. They did a consultation with a lawyer and he told them to stop paying rent. So they did. Saved the money and used it to make a downpayment on their first house. I don't know if it still applies but it's probably worth a look.

You'll have to decide for yourself. I recommend safe search: moderate.

Iistened to an episode of Conan Needs a Friend where he interviewed some bird guy who suggested that the bird that best resembles Conan is the Andean Cock of the Rock. Curiosity got the better of me so I searched for 'Andean Cock of the Rock'. The first result was not a bird but was instead a poorly made deep fake of Dwayne Johnson breaking one off in a South American gentleman.

This guy was on the Belgium float in the NATO parade in Norfolk today. He looks like he was celebrating another holiday too.

I love looking at these two.

Dog friends forever.
