My Duke Nukem 3D setup

I had a very similar setup when I was a kid!

As usual in such ads, no cable in sight.

I'm going off on this again.

I don't think a decent computer desk has ever been built.

I think there's a lot of us close to my age with some cozy memories of a Packard Bell or Compaq machine playing games on CD or surfing the information superhighway at one of those office supply store desks, but even then if you go find actual photos of them rather than staged marketing shots, they're usually crammed with stuff, there's either a computer or subwoofer in the foot well, and cable management is a cluster fuck. Because they're designed to have a box here and a box there and a box there, and a CD rack there, not "and the wires from this to that go through here."

They've all been neatly bundled together and ran behind the furniture framing with the dreaded zip ties and little sticky square zip tie anchors. :)

The corner versions were even better.

I can smell that picture

Huh. Didn’t realize I missed my old computer desk setup until I saw this.
