Mate I purposely said girlfriend as I didn't want to cause any angriness. People can and have been annoyed with me when I have made jokes along those lines.

That wind is a tad chilly this morning at the ferry terminal. (4 am) Yesterday morning was so warm that I had my coat undone and a mate didn't even bother with his coat. Today I thankfully have my Beany in my pocket. Well it's on my head now. Pity the lady sat next to me wearing shorts. I think it's the first time I've seen her in shorts too.

And it certainly warmed up a lot yesterday. I used the ceiling fan for the first time ( in this current house ) when I got home. Oh how I envy people that get to stay in bed till 8 or 9. Brrrrrrr

That same mate didn't have his coat. Probably felt warm at home. He's a big lad so maybe he was ok.
