Mediaite doesn't do great journalism as a rule, but smokes alive, that headline is a baldfaced lie.

There are experts and professionals that have already suggested that we have already stepped into WWIII .... we just don't know it yet.

This is the same stuff that happened leading up to WWII .... modern history books say that 1 September 1939 is the official start of the Second World War when Germany invaded Poland .... but a deeper dive into the history leading up to this event always leaves out the fighting that was already happening with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria in 1931, the Spanish Civil War in 1936 and the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1937 .... there were a bunch of major wars and conflicts happening leading up to all out war everywhere in 1939.

World Wars are not started with one single start point ... it builds up with a series of major events that lead up to a point where the entire world is involved in the fighting. This is probably the point where we are at right now.

The difference this time is that we have nuclear weapons and chances are ... once the major world fighting starts happening .. it won't last long because we'll all be dead or dying in about two hours once all nuclear weapons are launched. If you do survive the first two hours ... you'll probably wish you had died at the start.

Studies show that not the radiation will be a problem but poisoning due to all the vaporized minerals and chemicals.

Fitting that I just finished reading Swan Song (1987 post-apocalyptic horror novel by Robert McCammon). Great book BTW!
