The United States has been down this road with Patriot Act. It absolutely will lead to insane levels of privacy invasion and surveillance. Substitute "terrorism" for "CSAM" in the arguments its proponents give, and it all rhymes too fucking well. Please don't let Europe fall into this trap.

American here. You have been warned. Austrailia is now joining the surveillance state trend. This world is no longer fit to live in.
