"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

Yeah I don't care what anyone says, the DPRK is crazy. The way they're acting you'd almost think they were subjected to one of the most intense and genocidal bombing campaigns in history and are still legally at war with the neighboring state (and global hegemon) responsible to this day.

They said the same thing about Cuba until Miguel Díaz-Canel became president. One day someone who is not in the Kim Family will be in charge and they will start freaking out.

honestly, these people can't really be called leftists. leftists are anti-capitalist.

these people are liberals. they want social new deal capitalism.

Agreed. The blue twitter bio million flags people are nothing but bourgeousie puppets. They seek to attempt to fix capitalism, which can never be fixed, instead of opposing it, and embracing communalisation.

Placing the ukkkraine flag next to the Palestine flag is a greater insult to me than all that word salad

bro it's so crazy to me that Ukraine allying with Israel isn't enough of a red flag

[–] burlemarx@lemmygrad.ml 15 points 5 days ago

And as if sending Ukrainian soldiers to help massacre people in Gaza wasn't a big enough red flag.

[–] JucheNecromancer01@lemmygrad.ml 23 points 5 days ago

Yeah I think if they got a EU and UA flag in the username, they're a liberal, not a leftist.

[–] SmallBear@lemmygrad.ml 31 points 5 days ago

Gotta love the nonsense combination of flags here.

Bro 150million? Where did that come from? Liberalism is a disease.

[–] davdoran@lemmygrad.ml 11 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Every time a Soviet citizen jerked off, they added a few million to the victim count

[–] Saymaz@lemmygrad.ml 15 points 5 days ago

They keep adding more millions to the bs number.

Liberals fucking suck. Revolution over reform. No compromise with capitalism!

However, not all non-MLs or non-vanguard communists are pointless, necessarily. Communism can be achieved without the vanguard with a dictatorship of the proletariat. Mass strike has shown to be successful in moving towards communism. For the Spartacus League, the only thing stopping the mass strike from complete success is the paramilitaries of early 1920s and late 1910s Germany. Paramilitary force in developed nations doesn't exist nearly enough, and a proletarian democracy could very well be achieved by a mass strike and revolution, especially in smaller cities with less defense. Remember, society is upheld by the proletarians, so the same should apply to revolution as opposed to a concentrated vanguard party.

Western brain rot

I’m at a complete loss for how to bring these people into ML communities. I’ve tried so many different approaches and even the radlibs just stop listening the moment you poke holes in their idealism
