FP is like 3 years behind the story. Pretty sure the moment he began losing touch was when Boris Johnson said "unlimited support" and he actually believed it. Before that he knew there was no way that ukraine could win the war but now, over a million dead ukrainians later, he is saying they are going to win the war any day now.

Incorrect choice of grammatical tense in that headline. Clearly it's "has lost", not "is losing". Hitler in the Führerbunker in 1945 waiting for Steiner to save the day was more in touch with reality than this delusional clown.
