This group is aimed for locals of Southeast Georgia USA. Examples would include Brunswick, Kingsland, Savannah, Waycross, Jesup, Hinesville, St. Marys, etc.

I've been wanting to start a local Mesh group. There's nothing coordinated here, though I do see a random node every few days.
Would you care to share a bit about your process of setting up and some of the "checkboxes" one would need to go through to start organizing something like that for an area?
Also, are you going to try to get listed on the Meshtastic local groups list?
I already have a pull request into the meshtastic documentation to be added to the local groups page.
There is nothing coordinated in this area as it's a large area of several cities spread over a 40 or 50 mile radius.
I didn't do anything special other than setting up the group and I'm willing to moderate it.
