As someone who comes from a small town and moved to a city - this is all 100% accurate. I wasn't 2 years out of high school and started noticing people my age had already both had kids and were starting to get divorces. Good ol' fashioned home-town morals.

When I was in the 8th grade, I had a friend with two kids. TBF he had been held back for four years and should have been a senior in high school by that point, but it was still pretty unusual.

I live in a rural area too and still have all my teeth too, well, except for one that I lost when the back of a folded stock shotgun hit me in the face when I was a kid and wasn't prepared for the recoil without the stock against my shoulder. But I had that tooth replaced with a fake one, so it still looks like I have all my teeth.
I'm glad you didn't knock out your rizz tooth. Were you holding the gun too far forward because your arms were short or was the stock folded and you were using a pistol grip?
