Thankfully I live on Ottawa, where we have 10x more shwarma shops than Lenanon does. 120,000 shops in a city of 1M, that's 1 for every 8 residents.

That’s not even close to the truth. There are about 190 shawarma places in Ottawa.

that's only a count of the first tier shawarma shops, it doesn't count the ones that are located inside another business.

I countered your original absurd-statistic's downvotes by 1, because it is funny.

All the people who have become sooo damaged by political-outrage that you can't recognize humor, when you see it,

this thread is brilliant fun.

& that somebody actually did the statistics on shawarma joints in Canadian cities, per capita, that's just icing on the cake.

1 shawarma place per 8 people?? .. how the hell could that not be recognized as japing, by the people who downvoted it??
