Not a place for gamer gate talk or other reactionary behavior. TERFs and incels get the wall.

Aliensrock for puzzle games, City Planner Plays for city builders, Laith for paradox slop are currently my three highest gaming YouTubers I think.

I didnt realize this was about Games. but I'm leaving this here anyways

Palestine Focused leftist channels: The Electronic Intifada, Justin Podur, Adnan Husain, Mizrahi Prespective, The East is a Podcast

I listen to Alexander Mercouris for ukraine updates.

Occasionally good geopolitical analysis Dialogue Works, Glen Diesen, Danny Haiphong I avoid interviews with Larry Wilkerson Jacques Baud Ray McGovern Larry C. Johnson Paul Craig Roberts Chas Freeman and especially alex krainer. They all just say the same sort of thing over and over and/or are reactionary idiots.
Jamarl Thomas is hit and miss, He gets more varied guests even if some of them are duds and he is willing to debate and push back against his guests a bit.

Sean foo is pretty good.

Primitive Technology is fucking chill. Just a dude in queesnland australia making shit out of clay and sticks using stone tools. It isn't "survival" content. He doesn't talk or get into clickbait bullshit.

If you like Let's Play videos I suggest checking out supergreatfriend. I've been watching his videos since the mid 2000s when he would post them to the Something Awful forums (I'm getting old). His Let's Plays are well-researched, thorough, and entertaining. He sometimes plays some very obscure games and often touches on the history of the game's development and will play them to 100% completion. He also has a good (dry) sense of humor, and while I don't think he's a commie or anything, I've definitely heard him make jokes that indicate he at least leans left.

Some LPs of his I really enjoy:

  • Siren and Siren 2 - These games are probably two of my favorite horror games ever made and SGF does a good job showing how unique they are.
  • ILLBLEED - Very strange Dreamcast game that gets even more bizarre as it goes along. Truly one of the weirdest games I've ever experienced.
  • Deadly Premonition - Probably his most well-known LP, in which he 100% completes the game (if you've ever played this game before you know how difficult that can be). He even went as far as watching the movies the protagonist mentions in-game and giving a brief review of them.

He's also a big fan of the Silent Hill and Resident Evil series and has great LPs of those games as well. In his Silent Hill 2 LP he even plays all the different versions of the game, including the infamous "HD Collection" version just to show how different it is. FYI: the above mostly applies to his videos titled "Let's Play [game name]." The ones that start with "Bumbling through [game name]" are just him playing that game for the first time and so are a lot less detailed (although usually still entertaining).

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

Not really "Games" related, but besides well established Marxist channels like Hakim, Lady Izdhihar, and Yugopnik, as well as news outlets like Breakthrough news, Mintpress, Grayzone, Mondoweiss, etc.. Some of mine but far from all:

Indie Nile is pretty good. A Palestinian drag artist who makes videos talking about Palestine, the Zionist entity and Western double-standards.

This guy is very informative when it comes to the perspective of the former eastern Ukraine which were liberated, particularly Mariupol and countering Western propaganda regarding the proxy war. Not explicitly a leftist but still enjoyable to watch.

DPRK Explained for learning about the DPRK.

Another DPRK channel

A channel uploading old radio broadcasts mostly from West Asia and North Africa, but also others including Cuba The Libyan Jamahiriya uploads are of particular interest, and there are also ones from various SSRs.

Channel archiving and preserving Jamahiriya-era Libyan revolutionary media, very important.

Mostly shorts-content based news channel focusing on the AES Sahel states recommended for those wanting to keep up with the news there. Not perfect but provides a good overview for further reading.

Channel about Mahmoud Darwish poetry

Ambient videos based on historical scenes and atmospheres
