Well yeah, of course they're tracking what you type in Copilot. At this point I'd just assume every keystroke and mouse click are tracked in some way.

Off topic, but kind of on topic. I'm in the process of upgrading all the PCs at my work to Windows 11 and figuring out which ones can't be upgraded. Is there a good guide out there for disabling or uninstalling Copilot as much as possible? At home I've just been going into Linux, but at work I don't really have an option and I'm pretty sick of it showing up in literally everything every other day. Like, I don't need fucking Copilot in a text document or when editing excel sheets. I know some of it is unavoidable and I'm not expecting to remove it completely, I'm just trying to make my job easier in the future.

There are some debloater scripts out there, forgot which one I've used last time, also Rufus usb installer creator has premade local account setting, wonder if the recent fuckery update broke that.

As soon as my work laptop was upgraded to 11 I disabled Office Copilot from the startup programs. So far nobody has mentioned it 🤷‍♂️
