Hello!

Im looking for some advice. Just found an auction for an old Mitsubishi Lancer GLX from 2000. Looks very fresh, drivable, passed inspection this year and got the timing belt changed this year aswell. The auction is currently at 400SEK, roughly 40USD.

Since my current Lancer Wagon from 2007 is starting to have issues with the steering gear im wondering if its might be worth bidding on it.

Anyone with experience regarding upkeep of an old Lancer GLX? Or just any forums can point me towards?

If you're getting a car that old, it better be a Toyota or Honda.

If your current car is starting to have issues, a car that's 7 years older will have even MORE issues

Yeah, that was kind of expected, sadly the offer is already gone. My idea was that if i can snag this one up super cheap (with it already serviced and lots of stuff recently replaced) it might still be worth it. Alas, it wasnt meant to be ๐Ÿ˜”โœŠ

I don't know where to go to find that information but why would you go to a sedan from a wagon? You have the cooler car already just fix it

Haha, i got this one cheapo and judging by all the rust thats building up the upkeep will be a nightmare in the not-so-distant future ๐Ÿ˜… Personal preference, I do love the Lancer sedans tho ๐Ÿ™
