Did you recently replace the screen? It looks like there might be light leaking in around the edges, and that you should either replace the FEP because its getting too loose or increase your peel height
The FEP is brand new. I'll try the peel height.
I bet you printed this huge thing flat in the build plate?
Not the OP, but what do you mean by this? I feel there's an implication that it should be laid out a different way?
With resin printers you don't want to print flat on the build plate, you want them angled. I'm not the best person to explain this since I've only worked with FDM printers but nobody else seems to want to answer lol.
Contrary to fdm printing, resin printing doesn't like large xy cross-sections because that means huge forces between the part and the fep.
This suction and pulling can lead to delamination of layers.
You typically want to angle parts and spam a bunch of supports. Which really is usually the opposite of what you wanna do on an fdm printer.
Ah, I did not pick up on this being a resin printer. Thanks for the info, I'm not too aware on the tech behind resin
You would think that
So... did you?

Sorry, no I didn't. It was printed standing up. I did try printing it flat but that failed for the exact reason you said.
If that model is one of the flat wallets I'm thinking about, it probably makes a pretty decent amount of suction cups even standing up.
In other models, you can get away with it by adding vent and drain holes, but that may or may not be OK for that model.
Honestly, for the wallet stuff, I'd probably print on an fdm printer more than a resin one.
I see what you are saying. I never thought about that. Unfortunately I don't have an fdm, but I'll keep the suctioning in mind for future prints.
If this is from the model standing up, then I don't really understand the surface marks.
Maybe it was wobbling a bit and would benefit from more supports.
If angle it slightly, which implies spamming a lot of supports closer to the build plate.
Is this a free stl available somewhere?
I don't mind taking some time and trying to figure out how I'd support and print it on my machine.
Yes it is a free stl. You can get it here https://www.printables.com/en/model/282245-slim-card-wallet-8-cards-multicolor
what the heck IS happening here? The scratches, the extra chunk...it's possessed
