I just got an email informing me that Cake Pay Web is starting back up. It will initially be invite only.

Same! Having everything built into an app is much more convenient than something like coincards.

Any word on cake mobile pay returning in the cake wallet app?

Not that I've seen or heard. My best guess though is that they're setting Cake Pay Web up with a new provider now. If that works out, and depending on how fast they can get it developed, the app version will be next.
