You either die a SpongeBob or live long enough to become a Squidward.

[-] Diprount_Tomato@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

You had to get old to relate?

[-] DONTBANTHISACCOUNT@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Why so snarky?

I hate when ppl give sum stupid ass advice w/o knowing Your situation...

"Just get a different job... Just get a job closer to You ..."

Most of us are huminerals and it's not simple as those people say it is.

The middle class is a joke ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜” to the corporate overlords n the gov does nothing to fix this...

[-] Blapoo@lemmy.ml 23 points 1 year ago

Empathy. A lot of people who give such advice don't have it. And while I don't know your situation, I, too, can relate to working hard my whole life and still having nothing. I sincerely hope you can find peace amongst the madness.

Also, eat the rich ^_^

Being middle class is actually being gangbanged by both corpos and the state. One sees you as a simple pawn that can be exploited and the other considers you to be a rich guy that must be heavily taxed

I goto work knowing there should be some class solidarity. Unless there is a EO in your title you're with us, sorry. The wealth gap between the rich and the extreme rich is enormous.

Unfortunately, the haves don't see it that way and lord over everyone with their "fancy teslas" or what ever the dum shit they think is a status symbol.

That enormous gap is inequality driven by corporate greed...
It's what I like to call legal corruption

Why would the government do anything? The government benefits from your wage slavery.

This is why we have unions and revolutionary groups.

Ye... Idk, in US they was quite successful at disassembling (many*) Unions... And they do their best to keep folks from unionizing.

Does Sweden have unions btw?

[-] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah we do, it's taken for granted that all workers are part of a union, it's how we do minimum wage instead of having a law about it.

not lucky, the result of people like you and me always remembering that unions make us strong.
