I can't stand the level of hypocrisy . People getting pissed on the net because of wrong use of their pronouns, and on the other hand not giving a shit about the poor palestinian children / people being mass killed and tortured. Something is very wrong in this world. We need new world leadership now!

Which of problem do you think the average person has a better chance of fixing from behind a keyboard, anyway? There is no fuckin hypocrisy in calling out someone for being a jerk on social media but not stopping a literal genocide in another country.

Why are you leaving a comment on lemmy instead of negotiating a peace deal yourself?

You're complaining in the internet about people complaining on the internet. What are YOU doing to correct the Palestine situation? What "minor"issues are YOU completely ignoring because someone else has it worse? Did you stop arguing with people at work? Did you stop getting mad at people while driving/commuting? Have you stopped voting for better local ordinances because there's a genocide half a world away? Have you stopped enjoying your daily life and dedicated it to getting new world leaders?

Is letting people misgender me going to do anything other than normalize transphobia? What do you want me to do, respond to misgendering with a spiel about Palestine?
