Would love to be able to use my protonmail account from Thunderbird I don't know if this is possible due to the encryption.

I can't stand the level of hypocrisy . People getting pissed on the net because of wrong use of their pronouns, and on the other hand not giving a shit about the poor palestinian children / people being mass killed and tortured. Something is very wrong in this world. We need new world leadership now!

I can't remember but having my hard drive encrypted, I believe there is a single file that messing with it would render the drive not decryptable.

It's a setting we have in our body. Two or more cups of strong coffee will make my mouse wobbly.

Construction company we made a few foundation pads and the supervisor who was an asshole, came to check the electrical installation conduit, so he pulls his plan and goes to one conduit end that is supposed to go all the way to the other side, so he yells at one of the workers to blow on the other conduit and wants to listen for air coming out on his end.

Guy on the other end blows, nothing happens on this side, the asshole supervisor yells "Blow Harder" so the construction worker obeys and gives a big strong blow on his end. Well nobody saw this coming, someone had urinated in the pipe so all pee comes out and squirts his face in front of everybody.

Since we hated him we were all laughing our souls out of our bodies. :) The supervisor, didn't say a word and walked away furious.

Hello Every time I hit an interesting post, it opens whatever web page in the same tab lemmy was opened, and thus I loose lemmy.

Is there a way to configure lemmy to open links in a new tab instead of the actual lemmy tab?

Today, Lichess users play more than a million games every day. Lichess is one of the most popular chess websites in the world while remaining 100% free. Most “free” websites subsist by selling ads or selling user data. Others do it by putting all the good stuff behind paywalls. Lichess does none of these things and never will. With no investors demanding profits, Lichess staff can focus on improving the site as their only goal.

Does anyone else feel that they should start respecting other countries and other ways of social organization?
