Given the explosive growth in the last month, I have to imagine the devs are just trying to keep their heads above water at the moment. Give it a few more months and I imagine a lot more SWE Lemmy users will jump on board and help out
This is correct. At this point we're just trying to keep up with the stability and security issues, and address PRs.
The next big things on my plate are a UI rework of both this site, and the join-lemmy.org site, as well as lots of database optimizations.
Ive been wondering about this myself…
I did a little digging and I can't find any actively maintained roadmap.
They have some milestones in GitHub but they're all empty / outdated.
