The man On the left is justifiably disturbed knowing what he's about to run over. The man on the right is psychotically excited to see someone was tied to the rails that they almost ran over.

Maybe the smiling guy is happy because the trolley isn't running over the one person, and he doesn't know what's on the other track.

As they say, ignorance is bliss.

The man on the left could see the curve, and what was on it.

And they're both gay.

The guy on the left is sad because they missed the guy on the tracks, and the guy on the right is happy because he can see a train coming from the other direction.

So the guy pulled the lever to divert the train on to the 5 person track?

[–] afraid_of_zombies@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago

No, he was saving a life.

[–] eatham@aussie.zone 6 points 2 years ago

He didn't like the people

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

No, he just REALLY likes the way that lever feels, judging by his expression.

That was my exact thought, and the only thing I had to say about it.

I still don't get how five railway workers all failed to remember to lockout/tagout a line they were working on. Maybe it was an insurance scam
