There's a ton of places that give out free classic ebooks, especially gutenburg but they unfortunately aren't always formatted well for ereaders. Standard ebooks tries to fix that.

They are really good! Their selection grows quite quickly as well

I always check there first. I like it that they offer their books in several different formats, some that aren't available at Project Gutenberg.
