Just peeking at the list and saw a QR code scanner with the note, "My personal QR code scanner because Android still don't do that in their native camera...."

Does it really not? I have a Google pixel 6 and the camera provides a clickable link when a QR code is in the frame. Is that maybe a firefox thing? Idk I thought it was the camera app

I think they probably meant the AOSP Camera, or certain Snapdragon camera variants bundled with some LineageOS builds.

yeah cameras and their software is pretty much one of the few vendor specific aspects left in the android world that is worth comparing and maybe worth paying for. Of course flagship models like Pixels and the S series from Samsung certainly can deal with QR codes these days
