One thing I noticed is alot of people on Lemmy think that everything on the internet should be free and have no ads. In a perfect world this would be great but most of the sites people regularly use are expensive to operate and wouldn't exist. I do use as blocker and pirate stuff sometimes but I also pay for YouTube premium and a couple other services. Plus I go to movie theaters whenever there is a movie I really want to see and support.

I miss the back fingerprint scanner. I could unlock my phone as I'm taking it out of my pocket . The in screen one on Samsung phones is really unreliable.

I work from home and sometimes my son stays home with me when there is no daycare or school . Just watches tv in the same room as me and we play on my breaks . He would probably do that most days if he had the option. His mom lives 2 hours away so I don't get to see him as often as I want so I play with him as much as I can even when I'm exhausted from working 2 jobs .

It's just cable tv all over again. Pay for 8 services to get a handful of shows you want to watch with the other 90% not being touched , now with ads creeping back in too .

Walking around a rainbow cross walk . Also just not using a cross walk in general and taking more time trying to cross the road at a random location than just walking slightly down the road to cross the street even though that's the direction they where walking in the first place .

Hamas killed 1200 with about 500 to 600 civilian deaths so Israel kills over 21000 with of 19000 civilian deaths with 8000 being children . I really hope america finds someone else to elect president other than Biden who wants to send more weapons to Israel or Trump who is facing 90 criminal charges. There has to be a better option right ? I wouldn't be able to bring myself to vote for either one of those people .
