I have such a schoolboy crush on her. She'd be my Trump. "Oh, you shot some people in Manhattan? You poor thing, that must have been a lot! Who needs a long hug?"

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez issued a warning to President Joe Biden following reports he may use new executive action amid an uptick in migrant arrivals at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Republicans have blamed his policies for the increase, though experts note external political and economic factors play a substantial role in driving migration.

Ocasio-Cortez, a progressive Democrat representing New York's 14th Congressional District, slammed the idea in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Wednesday night.

Ocasio-Cortez said that Biden should "refuse to sign" this executive order, describing its "mere suggestion" as "outrageous."

In December, the president faced backlash from some progressives over his negotiations with Republicans to reach a deal on immigration and border security that has since been blocked by conservatives.

"The base of the Democratic Party—young people, folks of color, immigrants—that was the coalition that allowed Joe Biden to get elected....

What experts? Biden and the democrats are the ones literally and figuratively holding the border open for illegal immigrants. When Texas tried to stop it, Biden went over their heads to force them to re-open the floodgates. There is no external or economic factor at play here. Biden wants to flood the country with illegal immigrants, and he wants to get them to be able to vote for him - hence the pushback against voter id, and the attempts to let illegals vote.

I don't really know what the solution is but messaging needs to be better. I talk to so many people who worry about these issues and a lot of them are on the left. There needs to be a clear plan for how to ensure any problems are mitigated and idealism isn't a solution
