The lawnmower will find them, along with the half-dozen lost Nerf darts.

man fuck those things. I've never even seen someone shoot a nerf gun within a mile of my house and I still find rotten blue darts everywhere

[โ€“] Tar_alcaran@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 years ago

Ah, this brings me back to that very brief time when Nerf made digi-cam print dart.

This is silly. Who would buy an empty bag?

[โ€“] exocrinous@startrek.website 3 points 2 years ago

Someone who needs to carry things. I think you could fit a fair few Easter eggs in there

When these are found ten million years in the future by archeologists in a sedimentary layer what will they attribute them to?

[โ€“] IonAddis@lemmy.world 26 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Religious rituals.

Not because they know anything about Easter. It's just that religious rituals seem to be the catch all bucket.

Dude. We know nothing about Eostre, and barely know the highlights of the retconned holiday around it.

If future archaeologists can figure anything out, I'll be convinced of their greater intellect.

Also, "religious whackadoos" is a good guess for why people do anything weird, these days (eg "Tennesseans vote to kill bills and laws that help them all" and similar weirdness), so I think that's a good initial strategy.

I don't see anything but empty bags, what am I looking at?

Don't worry, just some stupid ad with John Cena

[โ€“] Krackalot@discuss.tchncs.de 15 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Looks like they even have some for Jeaster.

Sorry... Couldn't help myself.

[โ€“] sbv@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Can you add beans to that?

Ok, AI has valid uses, youโ€™ve convinced me!

This is art ๐ŸคŒ

The red liquid, dripping from the jeggs in the second picture, is nightmare fuel.

a true Easter treat

[โ€“] awwwyissss@lemm.ee 14 points 2 years ago

Good, more plastic trash. That's what we need.

[โ€“] Voyajer@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

What a great business idea

[โ€“] glimse@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

That's an awesome idea. Especially if you have both younger and older kids looking

[โ€“] s3rvant@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 years ago

Yesss, we hid some of these this year with a cash prize for those that found them: https://a.co/d/ccqNPjU

It's the Marines, we don't want to know what we left in there.
