The terrifying thing is children will be scared by that.

I still suffer from religious trauma. It's getting better with time, but I still occasionally wake up in a cold sweat after intense nightmares of hell. My last one was 6 months ago.

I've been atheist for 13 years now but it still affects me.

Telling children about hell is child abuse!

Even if hell were real, there still wouldn't be any reliable way to avoid it, since there is more than one religion and all of them say you're going to hell if you subscribe to any other religion.

Now, if only there were some way to smuggle a rocket launcher and a chainsaw into hell when we die, then we'd have a proper solution to this little dilemma.
