Toyota had a similar issue with the accelerator pedal getting stuck. If I recall the cause, was people using multiple floor mats and those extra ones getting under the pedal when accelerating and panicking.

I had a Prius that had a recall for the factory floor mat doing that! Luckily I already had some nice hard plastic mats, but that’s a scary thought. RIP my beloved Prius, and fuck drunk drivers.
Odd. Every Tesla I see on the road is going 20 under the speed limit.
At least in the States, Tesla drivers are more likely to be caught speeding than most other car brands
