That's something. I thought those kind of receivers (?) were not cheap or small.

It looks like a built in feature of the new generation of exynos modems that the Pixel phones use

I guess Samsung has figured out how to minify it sufficiently, the cost is probably not really a factor for these phones that are pretty premium devices already

Anything would be an improvement over the current modem. It works okay but it's no Qualcomm. Power consumption and heat are still higher.
