I appreciate the attention of detail with the game board. Not only do both sides match but it gets updated after mouse guesses.

Idk enough about rats to argue in good faith but I feel like rats would be able to hear bat clicking.

Let's do some research!

The frequency range of rat hearing is approximately 250 Hz to 80 kHz with the greatest sensitivity occurring between 8 and 38 kHz (Source)

Bat echolocation calls vary in their dominant frequency approximately between 11 kHz and 212 kHz. Most insectivorous bats call with dominant frequencies between 20 kHz and 60 kHz. (Source)

As you can see, there is overlap, so I think it's accurate to say that some rats would hear some bats depending on the species. So you are not wrong!

I appreciate the dedication! Not very often someone actually puts in that effort over a simple comic/meme.

Sweet, clever and well-illustrated. Rare combo to see (or detect).

Bats are cool

Bats are the only true flying mammals. There are over 1,400 species of bats, and they can be found on nearly every part of the planet. Not only are they cute, they are also important...

Studying how bats use echolocation has helped scientists develop navigational aids for the blind. Without bats’ pollination, seed dispersal, and pest control we wouldn’t have bananas, avocados, mangoes, agave, or cacao… that’s right, bats bring us tequila and chocolate!
