I'll say this, I wish Rovers and shields had an ability to toggle outside of dropping them.
It'd raise the skill ceiling on them a bit and if they get too OP you just raise the time they take to activate.

The current guard dogs are bad enough, can't imagine what it'd be like if they had fire.
I would practice my stop, dive, and roll reflexes to use this rover stratagem.
This would be better than a flame sentry. Why should fiery death be stationary? It should be hovering around my head.

I now want this More than anything else. An actual rover guard dog that's a dog that spits fire!
