Do you guys want the schedule to stick to what we've had so far, or fit to my current time zone, or something else? What would y'all prefer? As long as it isn't midnight I'm fine lol

Word has it that Partey out for 3 months :(

[-] Aesecakes@aussie.zone 2 points 1 year ago

Yet to be confirmed though!

I'm suing Arteta for emotional distress if we play Jorginho at the 6 and Rice as RB.

@Aesecakes @Astrealix
Got to respect the consistency and reliability.

If there was ever a time for Mikel to lie to the Ghanaian FA...

Newcastle's defense is turning Ferguson into a £100M striker.

[-] ironeaglebird@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Love seeing Newcastle get pumped. Especially by a proper team like Brighton.

Tierney actually started for Sociedad vs Granada like 3 days after his move was finalised. Currently Sociedad lead 2-1 at the cusp of HT.

Fulham just got robbed. Akanji was blocking Leno's view.

Don't think that goal mattered in the end. Haha

Goal kind of reminded me of when Rashford was dancing over the ball while hw was offside against City.

It could have changed the dynamics. A team has more morale when they're tied 1-1 instead of losing 2-1.

Fair point. Where was the Fulham that drew at to us? We really need to stop taking our foot off the gas and start pumping in the goals.

[-] ironeaglebird@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Seriously when was the last time we won by more than 3 goals?

[-] ThePowerOfGeek@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

I don't mind either way.

[-] HaleEndGrad@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 1 year ago

Mason Greenwood to Getafe. Utd aren't letting him go, despite the backlash.

[-] Astrealix@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

absolute twats.

maybe it means the Earps move will be easier cuz fuck that fucking club lol

very very disappointing for the many domestic / sexual abuse victims that are gonna see him on one of the biggest stages though.

Everton with a point on the table.

Time of recovery for Partey is not confirmed. FA Ghana says couple of weeks.

I am enjoying Brighton being as good as they were last season.

[-] Aesecakes@aussie.zone 2 points 1 year ago

If I had a second Prem team it would be BHA, as a mate of mine is a lifelong fan and I enjoy their play BUT also, they keep beating us!

[-] ironeaglebird@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Brighton or Brentford have been my choices for a second Prem team.

[-] WorldcupCSR@arsenalfc.social 1 points 1 year ago

@ironeaglebird @Aesecakes Brentford is mine because I only went to the emirates once and on the same trip to London i went to a Brentford match wen they were in league 2 (sczeney was on loan); loved the pitch and the atmosphere of that game

Update on moving back to new york: my monitor broke during transit between storage, i'm gonna have to try and get it fixed :P

[-] Aesecakes@aussie.zone 3 points 1 year ago

Is the current schedule midnight in London? That seems appropriate.

[-] Astrealix@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

The current schedule is whenever I woke up in HK, but I'm no longer there haha. I can do midnight in London, that seems decently simple now that I'm in NY. Can't do that in HK though cuz I'm not waking up that early XD

!melbourne@aussie.zone uses a bot to automate daily threads, but it seems like you would need instance admin cooperation to install. Maybe there’s one already?

[-] Astrealix@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

We're not the best at knowing how to set up bots haha, Eabryt said he'd look into it a while back but yea. I'm fine with doing it manually anyway, it's not much effort.

Great day in the league, gooners. Partey out for 3 months with a grade 3 groin tear just as the tougher fixtures are coming up. MC have a decision turned in their favour. Spurs score five.

[-] WorldcupCSR@arsenalfc.social 3 points 1 year ago

@HaleEndGrad @Astrealix if we knew that with any time left in the window it’s a bit criminal we didn’t get anyone. I would’ve liked sangare who went to Nottingham forest

[-] Astrealix@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Fam we still have Jorginho and Rice after Partey's injured, even if we ignore Elneny being right there and a decent choice in a pinch. You want another 6?

[-] WorldcupCSR@arsenalfc.social 0 points 1 year ago

@Astrealix not arguing midfield depth tho don’t see mo offering much but definitely an issue if arteta counted partey as one of his RB’s

[-] Astrealix@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I mean, you said Sangare lol. I do think we need one more defender but oh well. Fingers crossed Partey's the last one to get injured? laughs quietly in trepidation

[-] WorldcupCSR@arsenalfc.social 1 points 1 year ago

@Astrealix yeah. Realize that. I did like the looks of him. Oh well hope partey isn’t out long!

[-] Astrealix@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

hate how they didn't just wait a day to announce it

[-] coygsu@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I hope he heals up well. Will this mean no more inverted RB?

[-] HaleEndGrad@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 1 year ago

and good ol' Chelsovski

[-] coygsu@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago
