No, there was a drone show meant to promote the Olympics scheduled for later this year. Around the same time as the women's soccer World Cup.

Sneaky tip: the Fairfax websites like BT and SMH all have a "soft" paywall. Just open their articles in an Incognito/InPrivate/Private Browsing window and you'll be able to read it just fine.
Lemmy's web version provides a one-click way to link directly to an archived version of the article which would automatically bypass the paywall, which I would usually try to use, or at least put in the body. Unfortunately I posted this one from my phone where that is more difficult.
