The judge is a Trump appointee.. I'll also note that he's in Texas, where the rules against judge-shopping aren't being applied, so the suit was likely filed with advance knowledge that he'd be hearing it.

I am so fucking sick of N Texas judges pulling this bullshit...

[-] KAYDUBELL@lemm.ee 28 points 6 months ago

Let them fucking secede if they want to make their own rules so bad. As we say in Oklahoma, it’s 11:30 and Texas still sucks

[-] Kalkaline@leminal.space 17 points 6 months ago

Fucking crazy to think that Oklahoma sucks less than Texas these days.

[-] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 17 points 6 months ago

Oklahoma has no illusions about what they are, Texas on the other hand thinks their the greatest thing since the discovery of fire.

I'm not arguing, just saying it's wild to think about.

[-] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 9 points 6 months ago

Every Trump appointee should be considered a threat to America.

They're not serving Americans.

[-] itsonlygeorge@reddthat.com 4 points 6 months ago

You spelled bribery, wrong.

I’m sure the blatant criminality of this will be thoroughly uncovered and reported in our fine modern corporate news media. Then people will see the dangers of allowing a demented, incompetent rapist to appoint judges.

Right?

Or... We could just talk about It on social media and in the news then enough of us will ignore the story in lieu of a single issue that we are completely misinformed on and vote him back in and allow him to escape without significant consequences.
