I don't think you can force anything in this regard. There is the official forum, reddit and here. People will just naturally ask wherever they are comfortable.
How many OPNsense users do we have over here? We need to find something exciting that will attract users to move interactions from both opnsense forums and from reddit.
It needs to be dead simple. A one page tutorial. Go here (list of main lemmy sites), create account, use this app and done. Subscribe away.
All said and done it is suitable as a direct replacement. People just need to go through a process first.. people don’t like that.
