He was 38 when he went in - there's some weird chemicals in the Mersey. It's what you get for being downstream of Stockport.

Iโ€™ll understand why they made a circular hole in the middle of Stockport high street where people can throw stuff in the culverted river.

A friend's dad was an actor who appeared on Waterfront Beat in the early 90s. At the end of the episode he had to fall or get pushed into the Mersey. I think they ran out of places on his body for all the jabs required.

When I was in college I got either roundhouse kicked or crescent kicked randomly while walking down the sidewalk by a guy. I yelled at him and said he shamed his master and he replied he thought I would dodge? Man people are wierd. Obviously it was not done with a level of force to cause injury but still.

You can hear this in a whiny nasal Scouse accent

[โ€“] Emperor@feddit.uk 4 points 1 year ago

Worth noting this happened in Warrington.

Heh, why Scouse specifically? I don't know jack shit about the regional stereotypes in the UK

Because the Mersey is famous for going through Liverpool

(Although most people don't realise it also skirts Manchester)

[โ€“] GreatAlbatross@feddit.uk 1 points 1 year ago

Relatable: Skirt Manchester, head for the center of Liverpool.

Any teenager in Liverpool going around dropkicking people will be the worst scally imaginable.
