I don't live in the US BTW.
You've obviously never read anything about communism or socialism.
Fuck, I'd download a donkey if it's free!
See, this is mostly because of 2 things. One, when changing filenames, users make the stupid mistake of changing the extension as well (having no extension that is), which of course, in Windows, it means the file won't be recognized as a media file. Two, blind you from the truth - you don't want users that can think, that's not what our bysiness is about ๐. Also the reason behind why Windows has less and less options and people that want to change something have to revert to registery hacks to do so.
The point is to transition to a subscription based OS. You subscribe, pay a monthly fee for services like Teams, Outlook, etc.
The LTSC editions probably won't ship with that bullshit, so it's probably safe to say that they can still be usable even after completely transitioning to a subscription based OS.
Context?
Depends on where you got the torrent, but those seeders might actually be just wrong reports by the tracker. It has happened to me as well. I've left torrents for months just to see if it will eventually start downloading... nope, just sitting there, idle.
Can't say what the real reason behind this is, but my best guess is some bots are reporting wrong info via DHT and/or the trackers. Why? Have no idea, your guess is as good as mine ๐คท.
Aah, the originals are stil alive ๐.
And myself happy as well. I get easilly iritated if I don't do the thing at least once in 2 or 3 days.
I never share screenshots, my desktop is boring... practical, nothing really fancy.
Yeah, my wife did a frog, so what ๐.
I really don't care if I damage Chrome... Firefox on the other hand... you better not touch that!
On the serious side though, yeah, sanding it down will damage the chrome. You might not get to the metal, but it will become less shiny and porouse, and more food will stick to that particular part in the future, and it will be harder to get off.
We have a product over here, it's called Arris DeGrass, I don't think you have that in the US... it's a degreaser, but it's extra strong, like you don't use that without gloves, EVER!.. ask me how I know ๐. Most people use it for cleaning ACs and degresing engines around here. So, basically, find an engine degreaser and use that, that should work just fine. But make sure you wash down everything REALLY REALLY good afterwards.
