The OP put a non-paywalled link in the post body.
I just looked at the mod log for that community and it doesn't show anything removed with your name, nor anything related to the CPC or China at all. In fact, there's almost nothing in the mod log for that community; it seems to remove hardly anything.
I can't tell if they're implying that the use of the word "predicted" in the article's title is not accurate given the body of the article, which I somewhat agree with, or if they're implying that "predicted" is the wrong tense of the word considering the war hasn't started, or some other reading. That's why I asked them. I'd rather not jump to conclusions.
Why would you reevaluate your position when you're getting exactly what you want though? If you think he's accidentally stumbled into fascist support, you're blind. He's specifically targeting fascist support. It does him good; I personally think he also truly believes in fascism, but either way, it does serve his goals.
Edit: My comment below was originally based on a faulty understanding of how EDDM mailers worked and a faulty assumption I based on that ignorance. What they did in reality is little more than sending out spam mail, it was not a privacy violation. I've removed the mention of the EDDM mailers since they aren't relevant given this.
I'd take a peek at the wikipedia entry about their business model, which mentions some stuff that isn't the most savory:
... Brave earns revenue from ads by taking a 15% cut of publisher ads and a 30% cut of user ads. User ads are notification-style pop-ups, while publisher ads are viewed on or in association with publisher content.
On 6 June 2020, a Twitter user pointed out that Brave inserts affiliate referral codes when users navigate to Binance
With regards to the CEO, he made a donation to an anti-LGBT cause when he was CEO of Mozilla in 2008. He lost his job at Mozilla due to his anti-LGBT stance. He also spreads COVID misinformation.
As others have pointed out, it's also Chromium based, and so it is just helping Google destroy the web more than they already have.
However I can’t seem to turn off the telemetry at all…
Which telemetry, specifically? Anything you can't find in the standard settings menu can be found in about:config
. There are plenty of articles with huge lists of settings to adjust in about:config
with explanations on what different values do.
I don't believe so. A battery standard would specify the interface, not the actual battery design from a technical standpoint. It would specify:
- size and shape, i.e. where connectors go, assuring it fits in a phone
- voltage and amperage provided
The rest is up to the battery manufacturer and is completely open to innovation. You want to put a Li-ion battery in there? Just make it the right shape and as long as it can provide the output required, it's fine. Want some future-tech fusion battery? As long as it's the right shape and puts out the required power!
Is this sarcasm? You're saying if they stopped fighting back against invaders who want to take their land they...would have land? If only they'd give up their land, they'd have land? Do I have that right? I hope I'm just misreading this.
I think the fact that there is a variety of opinions being posted, compared to the censorship I witnessed on Reddit, is the more mature situation. If anyone is being childish, it's those who feel the need to censor opposing ideologies. Feeling free to post and discuss differing views has a lot of value. I am assuming by your use of "commie" that you'd rather dismiss an entire ideology and group of supporters outright rather than on any real grounds.
Jesus, that's a rough read. What a horrible person.
Says the person with a 4 day old account who's bio is literally marketing-speak for a rival app:
The #messaging application with #anonymous identity, #untraceable content and military-grade #security. AKA the Dark Messenger.
Also, what is this infuriating nonsense where #every #word #is #tagged? #Can #you #not #type #normally? #Or #is #it #automated? #It's #inane. And it hurts readability, which is really the bigger problem.
Use of reserves motivates replacement. Just because you're giving them weapons that were produced in the past, and therefore whose (production) cost has already been incurred, doesn't mean that occurs in a vacuum. With stock running low, contemporary money goes in to replenishing that stock. In effect, there's no difference whether you send old or new equipment, because both incur costs in the present.
It cost you exactly the amount it cost to produce them. Just because it was produced in the past, doesn't mean it was free. You paid for it X years ago, and are only now seeing it used. You paid for it. Moreover, you're now going to pay to replace it.
