Along a similar vein, you can catch some cool live performances of lesser known acts on the KEXP youtube channel. They interview the artists too, which is cool. They often come up in search results for artists I look up on Youtube, and my music taste tends toward the indie (as in independent, not the sound genre).

It's kind of a cult classic. I remember it getting a lot of praise on neo gas and that's also why I played it. But in the larger arena of video game culture it's kind of just a footnote.

i think syncthing is actually going to be a better solution for what i want to achieve (keep local music files on my phone on my PC too), but it's good to know these things.

oh, I also have to mention codewars. That site was absolutely instrumental in giving me the confidence that maybe I could actually learn this shit. The first kata I did was as simple as "convert the boolean to a string," but that was exactly what I needed! I also like how it's less corporate than leetcode.
