If you're using Linux, you can do this easily with custom key bindings.

Hyprland opacity rule not working for Thorium

I'm trying to change the opacity of the Thorium web browser in Hyprland by adding

windowrulev2 = opacity 0.80 0.80,class:^(thorium-browser)$

to the configuration file, but it's not working. This same rule works for Thunderbird, so I'm not sure what's wrong.

Any tips on what I might be missing? Is it possible that Thorium simply doesn't support transparency, or am I doing something wrong? I'm not sure what to do next, and I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

Well, gotta say it's improving too fast to joke about it.

I'm asking because I saw a few posts in my home feed that I can't verify. By the way, Lemmy can't be compared to Reddit if it doesn't have the ability to post videos or GIFs. Think about it: what good is a social media platform without the ability to share the most popular forms of multimedia?

I'm running Plasma with Arch, but I like Gnome to, it's simple and easier to use, but I also think that plasma is more customizable.

I think reinstalling Debian might be the best solution in this situation.

If the official website redirects you to the Play Store, then it is safe to download the app from there.

And to be noted, I don't think that the Android app client for Signal is available on F-Droid.

I recommend checking the official website or the Play Store to ensure that you are downloading the latest and official version of the app.
