Take a cooking class. Learn how to manage a kitchen fire with a fire blanket or extinguisher and get one of each. Start practicing. You'll burn stuff and make food that's no good but you'll get better. Start simple with stuff like pasta.

Yeah, in the UK they reduced the amount you can buy at once too, so drugs like paracetamol and ibuprofen only come in 16 tablet packs and you can only buy 2 packs at a shop., It's helped lower suicides quite well.

People here have a real aversion to taking tablets a lot of the time. I have to convince people to take regular paracetamol (which is non addictive and doesn't have side effects so long as you don't take more than the recommended amount) after they have had surgery semi-regularly.

The scythe the continuous fire laser is pretty bad, it got a buff recently which makes it barely useable. The sickle the assault rifle laser is pretty good and quite satisfying to use.

The dagger got buffed in the big patch and works pretty well now rather than tickling everything.

The other energy weapons worth using is the blitzer shotgun but only on the bugs and the plasma shotgun which has so much stagger it's good for both.

I've started playing the harmonica, so I've gone from having no idea to being able to play some simple songs.

I know where your coming from. My parents feel right down the racist conspiracy theory rabbit hole during Brexit and COVID. I was working in the hospital watching people and colleagues die regularly and my dad was telling me it's just flu and all a hoax to scare people, they convinced my 90 year old grandma to not get the vaccine. We had a lot of fights. Eventually after a lot of reflecting I decided that having a relationship with my family was more important than winning an argument so now we just have a selection of topics I refuse to engage with, just say let's move on and change the topic. I found it really hard to see the people who raised me fall into racist rhetoric and conspiracy theory thinking, these people taught me to be a good person and now have some glaring holes in their compassion for others. I struggled with that for a long time.

Wasps usually kill other bugs. So you might end up with more of the biting bugs without them.

They (Arrowhead + Sony) decided to make ps plus sign in mandatory on pc, a change as it was optional since release. Ps plus is not available in like 2/3rds of the planet.
Thereby locking out loads of people who have been brought the game.

I love how many dicks have been drawn in historical artifacts by the people who built them. I remember reading about an engraving at the very top of an old column which the building was too unstable to get close enough to see for a long time. I think when they got up there and translated it it said something like "this is very high". It's nice to know people have always been people.

I'm not sure I'm getting the big picture on this, they are on strike because the government wants to train more doctors? Surely that's a good thing?

Dark souls. Everything after Anor Londo is a bit of a slog. Once you've beat Snorlax and Pikachu the game gets a bit worse in terms of quality.

Neir Automata has an absolutely banging soundtrack. You need to "finish" the game I think 3 times to see the final ending. Push through the run as 9s it is worth it. The ending has all the feels and the ending song is with it is phenomenal.

To The Moon has a beautiful soundtrack and a story which made me cry. It's not a long game, I highly recommend it.

Syonara Wild Hearts is a video game music album. It's really simple mechanically but the songs are great and it's a proper Zen game.

Journey has a wonderful sound track, just get to like level 3 where your doing the big slide downhill and tell me that's not magical.

Similar to Journey (but not quite as good) is Gris.

Bastion has some excellent songs and is a short experience.

Terraria has a brilliant soundtrack and great gameplay, very little story though. Great in multiplayer so find a friend.

Death Stranding has some great songs, a bit to spread out though. The story is Kojimas usual eclectic madness but I enjoyed it.

My dad: "the earth goes through natural temperature cycles, I've got some good scientific sources who say it's all natural and climate change is just scaremongering"

Guess that's another topic along with the EU, immigration, COVID, vaccination that I can't talk about with my family.

Makes it hard and frustrating to continue to have a relationship at times.
