People, in general, need to be more perceptive and aware of their surroundings.

Maybe they shouldn't be gatekept behind ludicrous paywalls then.

I've been told just today that tone isn't hard to infer from text and people who use tone markers are dumb. /s

But actually not free as in free beer. Someone is paying to sustain these instances.

Edit: this is the 2nd time I've seen the phrase "free as in free beer" today and decided to look it up because I hadn't really taken notice of it before. I retract my statement and apologize. You used it perfectly and TIL, so thank you.

Show me a culture that likes to recognize the war crimes they commited as war crimes.

The Japanese seem to do way more of sweeping their dirty laundry under the rug from WWII under the rug than Americans.

And no, that's not trying to excuse Americans of acknowledging their own war crimes. Every culture should own their past and do their best to learn from their mistakes.

I never knew about Linear Mouse, thank you so much!!! I fucking hate how Apple ties scroll direction on mice/touchpad and no, "natural" scroll direction is not natural on a standard mouse Apple.

5 Guys is also twice the price and I would argue that their burgers aren't actually better than In-n-Out's. I like thousand island sauce tho, so I'm a bit biased.

Totally agree with you about the Cajun fries, they completely blow away In-n-Out's fries but their fries set a pretty low bar imo.
