Why did you block him/her?
Also, I didn't even know until now that we have supermods in kbin/lemmy. Lol.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I probably won't add the blackmail stuff. I'm still thinking how to go about it, tbh. Last time I brought it up was when they were thinking of switching due to cost and I mentioned the privacy issues. I think Zoom recording meetings would at least give them pause (I hope), but I still need to make it as believable as possible and give an alternative that's already widely used (for customers and clients).
Ah. Interesting. Thanks for the link.
I hate some food, should I stop eating now? Pretty sure you do, too. Do you still eat? (also, I'm asian so don't tell me you don't hate any food or I'll put you up to it lol)
This is an overly simplistic take (and a blatantly reddit way of thinking - black and white, anyone?). Now I don't use reddit anymore but went back for r/place. Why? Because I felt like spreading the word about alternatives (not just lemmy/kbin) is much better than just letting do their thing. I've already explained in a recent post how that won't affect traffic much, so I won't explain anymore. After that, I'm deleting everything again. I hate spez and what he is doing to reddit, but do I hate the small niche reddit communities I've made connections with over the years?
Pretty hard to choose, TBH. I'll go with 3:
Those would probably be my top 3 normally.
Finally someone who gets it. Imo, the comments asking those people to hand over bank details and similar stuff can harm the argument. I mean, if someone told me that, I'd just say I do that every time I go to the bank. Or my bank has those details and they're made up of people like me. It won't really convince me that privacy is important since most of them probably have never experienced getting their accounts hacked.
Yeah. I never believed it'll stop or even minimize cyber crimes. Other countries have it in one form or another and failed.
Links?
Oh god what did i watch. That cape though. Lmao.
I personally don't want lemmy to end up as a reddit replacement. I'm scared the discussions will get worse like it did in reddit. Nowadays, people in lemmy actually discuss with you and not downvote-bomb or make a snarky comment for karma. I do hope we grow, though.
This honestly makes a lot of sense. 🤔
