Our friend group sits at around 17. It ebbs and flows with girl/boyfriends coming and going (though mostly all married now). I hate to say it, but the key is low standards. We don't all agree on anything. We don't all have the same hobbies or even sense of humor. But we don't kick each other out over stupid fights, and everyone is always welcome at everything. If you cut people out when they don't agree with you, or when they screw up, your friendships disappear. You just have to treat it like family.

Idk, I think the issue here is that Mario is for plebians. I don't know any "real" gamers who would answer a Mario game as their favorite game. Hell they likely wouldn't be naming a platform game period. Why wouldn't they throw in a song like that? Mario is fun for everyone, and it's one of the video games that isn't niche, has little to no barrier to entry and is just goofy and fun. Why wouldn't the movie just be goofy and fun?

I think Christopher Robin and maleficent were good. As long as they're telling a new story it's fun to see the old characters. When it's just the exact same plot but a little darker and live action over animation it's so dumb. Our CGI just ain't good enough to justify that.

They're remaking Moana already, and still a new movie, relative.

parents out there ... clue me in, but isn't this the pinnacle of irresponsibility, even on a cool day?

What she did is reprehensible, irresponsible, disgusting. That said, letting your baby finish their nap in a climate controlled car used to be very common. You could park down your driveway, leave the car on, bring in your groceries (and even put them away), and then get the baby out, but now able to give him your full attention. It's not acceptable to do that today. I have spent so many many hours in my driveway letting my baby finish their nap. Apparently if you remove the car seat from the base the angle is more dangerous for them to rest at, but unbuckling her means the end of a nap. I have wished it was safe to leave her in there alone every time and if I was a slightly less informed mother, I probably would. I would say if the car is climate controlled it's probably the same amount or less dangerous than co sleeping and like half of parents do that (I do not). Parents make a lot of choices.

Give us some idea

Yeah and that doesn't count the time listing the fake jobs, or scheduling the interviews

Wait am I confused on what an inner monologue is? Is it different from a train of thought? Do I just think I have one? Do people have a non metaphorical inner monologue where they physically hear thoughts? What percent are they in control of the thoughts?

If your mind wanders, isn't that the inner monologue?

Honestly good you got out. I still think about some of the darker parts of the books. The older and more aware I become the sicker they make me feel.

Yeah, or that it wasn't even sneaky, they just all agreed a couple of those episodes up front would broaden the appeal, and felt confident people would stick around once they got attached to the characters and into the sci-fi

I hear you, but if you want the cleaner to deep clean, you gotta surface clean. Or just pay for twice the time.

Sauerkraut and a bit of ketchup. The bun ends up tasting super sweet in contrast. YUM.

Is anyone else having the issue where you're 30 comments deep into a post, you reply to a comment and when you submit it refreshes the whole post making you lose your spot in the comments?

Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

I'm on a Google Pixel if that's relevant.
