There's always a bigger fish

To anyone paying attention to the natural progression of capitalism in our society, this should come as no surprise. At every turn we are incentivised to lie, cheat and steal at the detriment of current and future communities. Little will come of this "revelation" and frankly I'm exhausted.

Just say it like it is, we are in the process of triggering major climate tipping points.

I think I'll just upgrade to sailing the high seas rather than paying these clowns

I don't know if youre being facetious or are genuinely unaware of how devastating this is on our natural and societal foundations. The further our climate slips away from the predictable seasons our agriculture was built upon, the increasingly likely our society as we know it runs the risk of abrupt collapse.

They're not doing these jobs for fun. These are people that have themselves and their families to care for. Its possible to be mistreated at your job while also needing the income from your job

Cmon, even before the effects of climate change, our influence has currently set off a modern mass extinction that may prove comparable to the Permian wipeout. Without a doubt, even if the changes stopped today, it would take nature thousands of years to undo the changes we've cause in less than 200

Bro I love my steam deck, but I would be thrilled if they released a steam controller 2.0

Not vaccinating against an infection puts you at dramatically increased risk of poor outcomes. When deciding who gets a lifesaving organ, you have to consider chance of success and the chance that person can follow through with the rigorous regimen for successful outcome. This is the same reason drug users are denied organs. This is nothing unusual or unethical. She can choose not to get vaccinated, and doctors will choose a more suitable recipient for the organ.

Wow, the denial is strong. People are actively dying this year because of events that would have been statistically improbable just 10 years ago. Considering how important agriculture is to feed billions of people on a daily basis I would argue that any change to that jeopardizes our existence; and this is just one of the many effective ways that climate change could destroy modern day society.

You can believe what you want and I hope you the luck to never encounter fires, deadly weather, water or food shortages as many people today are dying from.

I also agree with this sentiment. I got a used t440p which I used for years in school before upgrading to the framework 13. I still love my old thinkpad, but its now my cheap in home media server. I would agree that old thinkpad are easy to find and a cheap (but still very useable and still to some extent repairable) option for work and school.

Beat the steamdeck? Lol I'llbelievve it when I see it. I give them credit for rock solid IPs, but the switches hardware was already dated when it was first released. They don't go for power with their hardware
