It surprises me that Nintendo would think enough people would pay for this, but considering the tech in it, I doubt it could sell for cheaper at a profit. What people don't realize is that there is a full on radar based health monitoring system in there that drives the price up. I expect this is a test bed for a future product that someone is trying to make back the R&D money.

I waited 7 months for my first appointment for screening, then another month for an in person assessment that took 3 hours. It's been almost 2 months since then and no response except for the $1000 bill. I'm about to call a lawyer (if I can ever get around to it...)

Tarken would have hated that. Remember the fact that the storm troopers missed so much is BECAUSE TARKEN ORDERED THE STORM TROOPERS TO MISS TO LET THE HEROS GET AWAY SO TARKIN COULD FIND THE LOCATION OF THE REBEL BASE! Leia even says so.

This sort of thing is already being done with many commercial devices. See www.powercastco.com for one of the companies.

This was such a fun game! I still have my copy on Sega CD!

Yes, and honestly that's how I coped for a long time. It leads to stress and burnout and major crashing. Not a good long term solution.

Look up classic ADHD coping mechanisms. Others have mentioned some in this thread like studying with someone (body doubling) or enforcing a schedule. One big reason procrastination works is that the stress/adrenaline acts like a stimulant that is one of the normal medications for ADHD that helps you focus.

One other suggestion is to study when well rested (first or second thing in the morning). ADHD symptoms can be exacerbated by being tired.

I manage a team of 5 people. I told them all not to come in so they could go see the eclipse. I told them not to take vacation and just bill it as normal hours. Three listened to me. One took a half day. One just went and worked...

Ok, so, everyone kept saying "don't stare at the sun without your NASA approved glasses," so I used my NASA approved glasses...you know what they should have said? "Remember to wear sunscreen on your face when you stare at the sun using NASA approved glasses"... My face hurts...

Sorry, I know this is controversial and I'll probably get down voted to hell, but I love my model Y Tesla and I think the full self driving is amazing (I didn't pay for it, there's a free trial this month). Musk is an idiot and an asshole but there's a lot more people working at Tesla that made some amazing vehicles.

Are you taking anything for your ADHD? In some cases, your own adrenaline is acting like a stimulant medication and helping you focus. This could be a sign that you need to increase your dose or that you need some to begin with.

For me (unmedicated) I actually have a workout routine of 30 min of vigorous activity every other day which gives me enough of a natural stimulant boost to stay focused, but your milage may vary.
