Look for the user QxR in 1337x. They include extras in almost every release, I believe.

If you are only interested in the extras, you can tell your torrent client what to download. In qBittorrent you go to "Content" in the lower part of the screen, and mark what you want or not. In Transmission go to Properties>Files. I'm sure that in most clients it would be a very similar process, but those two are the ones I'm familiar with.

Have you tested through the app? Settings>Providers>Test all providers

Going by what you're saying, I think it's a problem with the repositories, not of your machine.

Here you have the subscene dump sorted by language.

And here you have some other sites that could be worth checking.

Are you talking about search plugins? If you are, that's expected behaviour.

"Note that python plugins/scripts are, by its nature, not considered to be safe. Therefore any use of the unofficial plugins is at your own risk. It is a good practice to audit/take a look at the plugin/script before you install." (From the link)

Have a look at Jackett or Prowlarr (and the rest of the arr suite), it would greatly reduce your attack surface if you are worried about that and they are very easy to set up if you look for the servarr wiki.

If you are using Firefox just go to the github repo that someone linked above, go to "Releases" and then download the clean-latest.xpi file. Firefox will install it for you.

If using Chrome, I would guess it to be the same, but the right file would be the .crx one.

If you are not using Firefox+uBO you really should, though!

You could add more trackers to the torrent using a list like the one on github hosted by ngosang.

Have a look at the eMule-project forum. It's a little bit of work to set up the first time, and you have to find a good list of servers to download from, but it's great for older content.
