There is more than one Dev (check GitHub) but no action has taken place since last year.
That was my reason for asking about sublinks apps.
I know that devs like web interfaces but the truth is you need apps if anything social is going to become established.
It’s a sad fact in the fediverse that routinely apps or even front end GUI aren’t compatible. There’s only so many times this can happen (or instances shut down or not be maintained) before it all becomes a bit much.
So I think relying on Lemmy apps is a mistake.
I think it’s only if you use a WebKit based browser ?
Don’t mean this rudely, struggling to find a way that doesn’t sound condescending because I know things can be different in different regions. Didn’t realise that still happened.
Just to add that when an instance upgrades to v0.19 all logins are invalidated. So you’ll need to log back in. So it would be good to choose your new app before that happens.
Mlem also supports posting
UK: anywhere that sells batteries has to have a disposal facility.
It’s to do with a change in timestamps going forward in Lemmy. Some apps have already updated to cope with it.
Have a look over on Matrix. Some have had short breaks but there are other reasons
From a users point of view, I understand your concerns. When other clients are undergoing significant development. It’s a little disconcerting to see the pace of Liftoff development slow and bugs not getting fixed.
I’m not sure what’s going on there’s been nothing for several weeks now and over on Matrix no talk of any bug fixes. I posted in the community asking if users can do anything (in case it’s a resource issue) but didn’t here anything
It’s a real shame as other clients are seeing rapid development but it’s falling behind and as you say, the iOS app seems to stop responding and needs tidying up.
For me it’s certain settings such as System dark/light mode and Open links in default browser that turn themselves off occasionally following an update.
