As I say I’m talking generally, not about your Voyager problem.

It’s not that you can’t log in at all, it’s unreliable. You can get into a state where authentication doesn’t work and there’s not much an admin can do. Check on the Lemmy dev community for some more detail.

0.19 is not far away and some instances are already running the release candidate.

It’s to do with a change in timestamps going forward in Lemmy. Some apps have already updated to cope with it.

From a users point of view, I understand your concerns. When other clients are undergoing significant development. It’s a little disconcerting to see the pace of Liftoff development slow and bugs not getting fixed.

With the proviso that you don’t give it to companies. Use a feature like hide my email or use forwarding from a gmail etc account.

(Companies like Facebook can use your own domain to profile you and your family. Other companies use Facebook services for advertising )

Yes, this has been a long standing bug. There don’t appear to have been any updates for several weeks, I hope this doesn’t mean Liftoff is no longer actively developed?
